Spongebob takeover | Burger king

To launch its menu tied to the release of The SpongeBob Movie, Burger King aimed to turn a product drop into a full-scale cultural moment. As the agency partner at BarkleyOKRP, I led the social content strategy. My team thought through teasers, product drops, and sustaining social conversation throughout the campaign. 

 

As part of the campaign, the brand executed a Miami restaurant takeover inspired by Bikini Bottom.

On the ground, I facilitated live social coverage throughout the activation.

The result was a seamless connection between IRL experience and digital storytelling, extending the campaign’s reach beyond the physical space. The work helped position the launch as a social-first moment that resonated with both nostalgic fans and a new generation.
